Kamal Jain submits over 7100 nominating signatures
On Tuesday, June 1st, Kamal Jain, Republican candidate for State Auditor, submitted his nominating signatures to ensure a place on the September primary election ballot.
Kamal Jain and his campaign team collected well over 9,643 signatures, from 285 towns, representing 13 counties. After submitting the nominating petitions to each town clerk for certification, the Kamal Jain for Auditor campaign garnered 7,103 certified signatures.
“I would like to thank all the volunteers and activists that helped us collect and distribute the petitions, thus securing my place on the primary ballot,” Kamal Jain stated. “As a candidate in the only contested statewide raced on the Republican ticket, I’m looking forward to an exciting campaign season.”
With the petition drive now over, Kamal Jain and his campaign team have turned their full attention to the business of campaigning. Although he continues to maintain his full-time job, Kamal Jain is excited to be kicking his speaking schedule into high gear.
Kamal Jain’s platform of Total Transparency, of putting every state financial transaction online, free and available for everyone to see, has resonated with voters across Massachusetts.
“I love attending events all over the state, meeting the voters face-to-face and discussing the issues that concern them,” Kamal Jain noted. “Everywhere I go, my message of Total Transparency is energizing voters all across the political spectrum. We’ve already visited voters in 48 towns. Over the summer, I look forward to visiting many more.”
