Simple Choices
Do you prefer things to be simple or complicated? Confusing or clear?
If you’re like most people, you prefer simplicity and clarity. But we constantly hear politicians telling you how complicated things are, that we need “experts” to make important decisions for us. They tell us not to worry our pretty little heads with the details of how government operates and how it spends money.
They talk about things like “structural deficits” — a fancy name for spending more money than you have. When someone mentions “structural deficits,” a lot of people tend to think “oh, that sounds complicated, better leave it to the experts”.
But when you look at the real problem, you see it simply: Our politicians have a spending problem. If someone told you the state had a spending problem, you would probably want to jump right in to help solve it by cutting spending, not raising taxes, right?
“No, it really is too complicated for the public to understand,” say the politicians and bureaucrats on Beacon Hill.
I’m Kamal Jain, candidate for Massachusetts State Auditor, and I’m with you — the problem is simple: Our politicians have a spending problem, and they’re not just in denial, they’re lying about it. There have been no cuts in total spending over the past 10 audited years. You’ve seen my analysis and chart proving this, right? (click the link or the image for the analysis)
What do you think when you’re told something that contradicts the facts? Do you want to ignore the facts, or do you want to call their bluff and say, “Show me the money!”?
Do you want someone to tell you where the money goes, or do you want to see for yourself? Of course you want to see for yourself.
You don’t want some “expert” to tell you what they think you need to know about the dark and dirty recesses of government. You want to see them firsthand, with your own eyes.
I’m Kamal Jain, and I want to give you the information and tools you need to understand how your government operates, how it spends your money. I want to give you a map, a flashlight and a compass and let you discover it for yourself. I’ll let you see where every dollar and every dime comes from and where it goes. No other candidate for Auditor will do that.
If you prefer simple over complicated, if you don’t want to just take someone else’s word for what is going on in government, then your choice for Auditor is simple, too — Kamal Jain.
Please vote for Kamal Jain in the Republican primary on September 14th.
Thank you!
