Rock the Vote Fundraiser
Kamal Jain joins four other candidates in a Rock the Vote Fundraiser in Devens this Saturday, June 19. Join us for a rockin’ good time! We’ll rock along with Dawghouse, Eastwood Peak, and Absolute Strangers (formerly the Silas Blues Band).
The Rock the Vote concert will be held from 1:00-6:00pm on Devens Common, 27 Andrews Parkway, Devens. Food, beer and wine will be available. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $20, and may be purchased directly from the Kamal Jain for Auditor campaign.
Absolute Strangers is a high energy Blues and Blues Based Classic Rock band out of Pepperell Massachusetts. Featuring Stella Stevens on vocals, Dave Lester and Rob Fortini on Guitar, Scott Rezendes on Bass and Ed Warshauer on Drums and Percussion, Absolute Strangers plays an eclectic mix of blues, blues based rock and classic rock cover tunes.
Dawghouse is an 80’s to today cover band playing all the songs the other cover bands miss!! Local talent; they’re from Lowell, Billerica, Woburn, & Lexington, & local Gigs!
Eastwood Peak, one of Southern New Hampshire’s hottest and longest running rock bands, plays their own original songs blended with a wide variety of classic cover songs from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and the present. Eastwood Peak consists of five talented musicians: Dean Glow (keyboards and vocals), Mickey Lorden (rhythm guitar and vocals), Kevin Visnaskas (lead guitar, harmonica and vocals), Kevin Hinds (drums and vocals), and John Bruner (bass and vocals).
Kamal Jain is teaming up with Jon Golnik, candidate for U.S. Congress (MA 5th) and State Rep candidates Connie Sullivan (1st Middlesex), Kurt Hayes (37th Middlesex), and Jim Gettens (12th Worcester) to host this exciting event. It will be a show not to be missed!
